It’s a long drive between Seattle and Portland. Three hours if you’re lucky! On the way up or down, depending on the direction, you’re going to need to stop to eat, so why not stop in for some pizza and beer at the Tiki Tap House?
Tiki Tap House is located in Centralia WA and is literally half way between Seattle and Portland. Jordan Peabody is the owner and he’s what I like to call “tiki people” …
This is some of his tiki mug collection on the walls of Tiki Tap House …
And there are tikis scattered throughout the restaurant …
Which happen to be carved by Jordan’s son, Anthony Dijos …
This is Anthony’s first tiki that he ever carved …
I’m going to put things out on Front Street right now, there are no tiki drinks at the Tiki Tap House, but they do serve beer …
Lots of it!
My buddy Jason ordered Kona Brewing’s Gold Cliff Pineapple IPA and said it was delicious!
The Tiki Tap house also serves a full food menu …
If you like pizza, you came to the right place. I ate all of this shortly after this picture was taken. The pizza was great and that’s coming from an East-Coaster!
Jason ordered a spam sandwich called a Spammich.
That’s a lot of spam!
The décor at the Tiki Tap House is really cool. It’s a combination of beach bar meets tiki …
If you’re a tikiphile, you will enjoy this place and you’ll be supporting one of our own Ohana!
I’d like to thank Jason Craig for all the pictures used in this post …
